  5. The Sales Invoice Processing system is a powerful and flexible system designed
  6. for the retailer or wholesaler needing an easy-to-use invoice generating system
  7. for sales either over the counter or in the back office. The screen for entry
  8. of invoice information is in a familiar format resembling a standard order
  9. form. Transaction data entered on the invoice screen can be saved as a
  10. quotation or as a work order. These can be recalled for additions, deletions or
  11. changes, and printed as an invoice, quotation or work order. When an invoice is
  12. printed, the system updates the product master file by reducing quantity on
  13. hand; updates sales for current month and year to date; and, on charge sales,
  14. updates the accounts receivable customer file and open invoice file.
